What Catpool is

Catpool is a litter of practical online tools for those little jobs that pounce on your day and refuse to leave: Whether it’s whipping up a QR code, grooming messy JSON, counting words, converting an image, or taking a quick paw-break with a game.

No need for a whole clowder of apps clawing up space on your phone. Just open Catpool, pick your tool, drop in the info, and pounce on the result. No account to create, no sign-up wall to vault, no dashboard to learn. Just pure, purr-actical help when you need it.

The homepage is your launchpad. Search the library, prowl through the cards, or tap the category buttons to narrow the hunt. Each card opens its own page with a ready-to-use widget and plain-language notes on what to enter, what the result means, and any limits worth knowing. The five hub pages are the wider territory: Security, Developer, Create, Calculators and Games.

Five hubs, one simple way to browse

Security tools X-ray links, QR codes, emails, texts, websites and photos for scams and hidden data, read barcodes, and check or create passwords. Developer tools cover JSON formatting, Base64 and binary encoding, UUIDs, colour contrast, placeholder text, regex and JWTs. Create brings together GIFs, image conversion and compression, colour pickers and palettes, QR codes, barcodes and quick text jobs such as word counts and case changes. Calculators cover everyday figures such as VAT, percentages, compound interest, mortgage estimates, BMI and age, plus unit and currency conversions. Games are small browser games and fidgets for a short pause, from Sudoku to the Rubik’s Cube Solver. Pick a hub when you know the kind of job; use the homepage search engine when you know what tool you need.

Privacy and how the tools run

Most Catpool tools process what you type or upload in your browser, on your device. Drafts, text, JSON, images and figures are not uploaded to Catpool for storage, so a session can stay local to the device you are using. You do not need to create an account, and closing the tab ends the working session for these tools. A small number of tools need an outside service or live information, such as currency rates or a product lookup. The relevant page says when that applies; read its notes before using it for sensitive information.

When Catpool is useful

Prowl over to Catpool when curiosity gets the better of you and you want to check a random QR code before you scan it, a suspicious link lands in an email, or a photo is about to leave your phone with hidden GPS still attached. The Security hub lets you X-ray links, emails, texts, QR codes, barcodes, files and documents before you click or share, and generate strong passwords or check whether one has already leaked. All without the sensitive bits leaving your browser.

It’s equally handy when you’re creating something quick and clean: whip up a GIF from a few frames, compress and convert an image so it slips under an upload limit, pick exact colours and build a palette, generate a QR code or barcode for a label or poster, or tidy a block of text so it stops looking like it was dragged out of a PDF. Bring the raw material, leave with something finished and ready to use.

Open the tool, drop in the link, photo, text or numbers, and pounce on the result. Most of the work stays on your device, so drafts, screenshots and private details don’t get uploaded for storage.

Results that affect tax, lending, health or another important decision are starting points, not professional advice: check the appropriate official source or qualified person when accuracy matters.
