What it is for
Classic Pong with neon dark theme: you are the red side, the bot is on cyan side with a disc in the middle. There is no campaign and no account. You can play as little or as much as you like with no limits.
The drone tracks the ball and speeds up a little as the rally goes on. Hits spark, the court shakes, and the score sits on the glass. It is a game with a finish line, unlike the fidgets, but it still ends when you decide.
If you would rather pop or spin than rally, try Bubble Pop, the Fidget Spinner or the Squishy Ball.
Why it runs in your browser
The match is drawn and scored in this tab. Nothing is uploaded and you do not need an app. Sound is optional and generated locally. Close the page and the set is gone.
Where Pong came from
Pong was one of the first arcade video games to become a hit. Atari released it in 1972, and it turned table tennis into two paddles, a square ball and a score at the top of the screen. The rules were simple enough to learn in seconds, which is a big part of why it lasted.
Neon Pong keeps that idea and adds a glowing court, a computer opponent and a first-to target, so a set fits into a coffee break. You play against the drone rather than a friend, and it gets a touch quicker as each rally goes on.
Tips for longer rallies
- Keep your paddle near the middle between shots so you have less distance to cover.
- On a laptop, the keyboard is often steadier than a trackpad. Hold W or S rather than tapping.
- On a phone, keep your finger on the court so the page does not scroll.
- Start on an easier difficulty and a lower first-to target, then step up.
Common questions
How do I move the paddle?
Mouse or touch on the court, or W / S and the arrows. Keys win while you hold them. After you click the court, mouse tracking continues outside the box.
When do I serve?
The first serve happens after Play. After a point, wait for the banner, then press Space or tap the court.
What does first to 7 mean?
The set ends when you or the drone reach 7 points. Reset or Play again starts both scores at zero.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Drag on the court to move. Sound can stay off. If the page scrolls while you drag, keep your finger on the court itself.
Is my score saved?
No. Refresh or close the tab and you start from 0–0. There is no account and no leaderboard.
