About these games

This hub is for a quick break without leaving the tab. The fidget toys are small sensory loops you can start and stop in seconds: pop a board of bubbles, flick a spinner or squish a ball. For something that takes a bit more thought, play Sudoku or Neon Pong, or solve a real cube with the Rubik’s Cube Solver. None of them needs an account.

If you came looking for a calculator or a security check, the rest of the site is still a click away on the homepage.

What’s in this hub

Bubble Pop

Bubble Pop is a board of bubbles you tap one by one, or clear in a run. Pick a shape, a colour (including see-through Clear) and a size from 6 × 6 to 12 × 12. Optional pop sounds are made in the tab, so mute them if you share a room, and counters track popped and left.

Fidget Spinner

The Fidget Spinner is a three-lobe disc you click, drag or flick, clockwise or anticlockwise. Colour is cosmetic. A session timer is there if you like chasing a longer spin. On a phone, lock the screen first so a flick does not scroll the page.

Squishy Ball

The Squishy Ball is a soft ball you press, drag and stretch. It deforms under the pointer and springs back when you let go. Colour and size change the look, not the idea. Sound is optional. Use screen lock on a phone so squeezing does not move the page.

Sudoku and Neon Pong

Sudoku is the classic number puzzle, played in the tab. Neon Pong is retro Pong against a bot, for a quick round between tasks.

Rubik’s Cube Solver

The Rubik’s Cube Solver lets you map the colours of a real cube and get the moves to solve it.

How they run

Everything runs on your device. The pages don’t ask you to sign in, and popping, spinning, squishing and playing all happen in the tab. Sound, where there is any, is made in the browser, and you can turn it off.

Some fidgets include a screen lock. Touchscreens treat a drag as a scroll, which is awkward when the point is to flick a spinner or mash a ball. Lock holds the page still. Unlock when you want to read the notes below or leave.

  • No sign-in and no saved session
  • Works on a laptop or a phone
  • Sound is optional and stays in the tab
  • Screen lock is local to that page

When to use them, and when to close the tab

Use them for a minute between tasks: a call is about to start, a page is loading, or you want something quiet for your hands. They are built for short loops, not for an evening.

Close the tab when it has done its job, or when you notice you are still here because it is easier than the next thing. If you came for a working tool, Calculators, Security, Developer and Create are on the same site.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Open a game, play, leave. Nothing here asks you to register.

Will they work on a phone?

Yes. Fingers replace the mouse. On the spinner and the squishy ball, lock the screen if the page slides while you press.

Can I turn the sound off?

Yes. Bubble Pop, Squishy Ball and Neon Pong all let you turn the sound off. The motion stays; the room stays quiet.

Do they remember my last session?

No. Refresh or close the tab and you start clean: a full sheet, a still spinner, an unpopped board, a round ball.

Are these a replacement for a real break?

No. They are a pause in the tab. If you have been at a screen for a long stretch, close it and look at something further away.
