How to use the Fidget Spinner
- Click the spinner for a quick spin, or drag and flick it for more control. A flick clockwise or anticlockwise sets the direction naturally.
- Pick a Colour: Rainbow, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink or Cyan.
- On a phone, use the lock control so the page does not scroll while you flick. It starts unlocked; tap it when you need the screen held still.
- Watch Spins, Current Spin and Best Spin as the disc runs down.
- Press Reset when you want the counters and the spinner back to a standstill.

What it is for
A physical spinner is a small bearing in a plastic body. This page is the same idea without the pocket toy: give it a flick, watch it turn, see whether this run lasts longer than your best. There is no campaign to finish and no account to create. It is a short sensory loop for a spare minute.
Clicking is the lazy option: one tap and it goes. Dragging and flicking is closer to the real thing, because the direction and the force come from your hand. Colour is cosmetic; Rainbow cycles through the set, the solids stay put. The timers exist so you can nibble at a personal best if that makes the fidget more interesting, not because anyone else is watching.

Why a browser version
You do not need to carry a toy or install an app. Open the tab on a laptop or a phone and flick when you want a pause. Screen lock is there because phones like to scroll the page the moment a finger moves. Lock it, fidget, then unlock when you are done.
Common questions
How do I choose the spin direction?
Flick clockwise or anticlockwise. The spinner follows the gesture. A plain click is a quicker, less directional spin if you do not want to drag.
What do Current Spin and Best Spin measure?
Current Spin is how long this run has lasted, in seconds. Best Spin keeps the longest run in this session until you Reset. Spins counts how many times you have set it going.
Why would I lock the screen?
On mobile, dragging the spinner can scroll the page instead. Locking keeps the gesture on the toy. Unlock when you want to scroll the rest of the page again.
Does Reset clear my best time?
Yes. Reset returns the spinner and the counters, including Best Spin, to zero so you can start a fresh session.
