Squishy Ball
Press and drag. The ball deforms in the tab. Use screen lock on a phone so the page does not scroll.
How to use the Squishy Ball
- Grab the ball with a mouse or a finger and press, drag or stretch it. It deforms as you push and springs back when you let go.
- Pick a Colour: Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Pink, Yellow, Orange or Black.
- Choose a Size: Small, Medium, Large or Huge (Medium is the default).
- Choose a Sound: Soft, Rubber, Squeaky, Gooey or Pop, or tap the mute icon for silence.
- On a phone, use Screen Unlocked to lock the page so squeezing does not scroll the rest of the screen.

What it is for
A real squishy is a soft ball you knead at a desk. This one lives in the tab: press it, pull it out of shape, listen to the optional sound, let it bounce back. There is no score, no timer and no level to beat. The point is the feel of the motion, not a result.
Colour is a palette change only. Size is practical: Small sits neatly on a phone; Huge is easier to mash on a large monitor. Soft is the quietest of the sound set; Rubber, Squeaky, Gooey and Pop are more obvious, which is why mute exists for shared offices and late evenings.
If you prefer a clicky loop, Bubble Pop is next to it. For a spin with a timer, open the Fidget Spinner.
Why a browser version
No foam toy to lose, no app to install. It works on a desktop or a phone whenever you have a minute. Screen lock exists because touchscreens treat a drag as a scroll; lock, squish, then unlock when you want to move down the page.
Common questions
How do I squeeze it?
Press and drag on the ball. It squishes and stretches under the pointer or your finger, then eases back when you release. The on-page line is simply “Grab the ball and squish it.”
Can I turn the sound off?
Yes. The last sound control is a mute icon. The ball still moves; it just stops making noise.
Does colour or size change the physics?
Colour does not. Size changes how large the ball is on screen, which can make it easier or harder to grab, but it is still the same squish interaction.
Is there a reset control?
There is no separate reset button. Let go and the ball returns to shape. Change colour, size or sound whenever you want a different look or feel.
Will this work on a phone?
Yes. Use a finger instead of a mouse. Lock the screen first if the page keeps sliding away while you press.
